The Canine Unit is comprised of Officer Nic Anson and K-9 Aries. K-9 Aries just completed seven weeks of training with Officer Anson; at the completion of his training, Aries had to complete an independent certification through the North American Police Work Dog Association. Aries successfully completed the certification process.
Aries has already recorded his first narcotics arrest after finding cannabis in a car. Aries and Officer Anson will now be on regular patrol together.
