David A. Pietryla

Elected 2019

A long-time resident, David moved to St. Charles as a teenager in 1995. Prior to being elected alderman in 2019, he served on the St. Charles Plan Commission and Housing Commission for nearly two years, having previously served on the St. Charles Corridor Improvement Commission from 2013-2016.

David is a current member of the St. Charles Breakfast Rotary Club, serving as president for the 2018-2019 term. He also currently serves on the D303 Education Foundation Board of Directors and served as vice president of the St. Charles History Museum Board of Directors from 2018-2019. David is a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

A graduate of St. Charles High School, David holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is currently manager of government and regulatory affairs for Comcast.
