The Facade Improvement Program is a reimbursement / matching grant program administered by the City of St. Charles to encourage the rehabilitation and restoration of the exterior of buildings in the downtown area.

The Corridor Improvement Program is designed to enhance the physical appearance of private property along the City’s most traveled corridors.
Note: The Corridor Improvement Program has not been funded for the City's current fiscal year, May 2021-April 2022.
The Fire Department offers fire extinguisher training to the business community or any other interested group. The class includes a videotaped instructional program, brief lecture, handouts, and an opportunity to extinguish a live fire. The class is available upon request and is highly recommended for all adults. A nominal fee is charged for each class to cover the cost of the program.
