Traffic Alert: Lane Closures on Main & 2nd Streets

Manhole Repair Work

We have identified a collapsing manhole which is causing an unsafe roadway in the intersection of Main St. (Rt. 64) and 2nd St. (Rt. 31). Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 20, we will close the westbound lane of Main St. and the northbound lane of 2nd St. at the intersection to repair the manhole. We expect the lanes to reopen for the afternoon rush hour on Friday, Nov. 22. Message boards are out to notify drivers. These lane closures may cause some delays. Consider alternate routes while the work is being done.
